Kudos to the D Mary Frank and all her minions O/of helpers, seasoned vets and including relative new Members too (9 month year old Ben, grass quality inspector), whom helped (I was there 2),  Beautiful Courses, (ahem) a new Clue sheet format (I am clueless, maybe a new form of competition like long O or mystery O), a bright sunny day that got hotter (70s) as the meet went to the end, Nice polite Frisbee golfers (cheering us on as advacnced runners crossed paths/flyways say), good registration crew efforts Jerry and Bob and others, run out of water for finishers, then JR ROTC coaches (2 or 3) coming to DVOA assistane by bringing over spare water jugs a plenty and more importantly more cups (we ran out) for the almost 500 Scouts and HS ROTC cadets.  Speaking of the cadets, I met many but not all groups, many from Atlantic City, Manhattan (G Washington HS), MAST, NJ, Colts neck, NJ, a team from Buffalo NY, a few PA ROTC teams,  one from delaware or south of there (maryland?), Linden NJ, and a cast of others.  While few in numbers, Scouts from Elmwood Park , & new eqypt, NJ; Birdsboro (of course), and a trio of local PA Girl Scouts repeating at Tyler SP, having attended last year.  All were Welcome, and  Kent and Caroline Ringo must have smiled from above at all the youths having a great time in the woods searching for O markers and award (or not) glory.  If you missed this O meet, you missed a management 101 show - overcome all organizational issues that ocassionally are seen at 5 or more O meets, all occured randomly but I dare boast, Mary, Jerry, Bob, Rick, Robert (PC) and Mark overcame and smoothed out the rough spots (i.e 1 missing O flag, another in the wrong spot, and no clues/sheets... which was a daunting one solved by Jerry and others (trainers Bob, Jim p, Bob, TBD and Patrick S -(Copy Clues on back of your maps please)) by supplying poster boards and posting of the Clue order and ID numbers for the meet to proceed once competitors copied down there course clues (every one share the pens please)).  Well Done DVOA and THis tyler Meet/Pro crew, well Done!!  Many more helped and I leave that to Bob burg and Mary Frank to include the many more here not mentions, but whom helped.  I Can' wait t0 attend next year... although I still look forward to revisit Washington Crossing state Park Scout and ROTC O Too (its a NJ thing) ...
