Man it's hot out there. After hanging flags for six hours I was exstatic to see Dave Morgan, Steve Mones and Yu Maruyama pull up. They set up Start, finish and some road signs for me while I set up the computer. Ah the computer! My skill with OE12 is minimal, and the fact that I use it once a year, while it does get updated sometimes, and I am treading water. Thank yous go to the whole squad, none of which were asked to work, but all did so happily. First was David Radspiner (who has also takn over the results page) Vadim Masalkov, Sam Kolins, and Lena Kushaleyva even while juggleing Nina with the computer. They saved the day again. Things seemed to be done by 6:30, right when the Pizza was due. Steve Mones nd Sharon Siegler drove down to Warwick to buy the Pizza. I tried to call it in just as they were leaving, but my phone had no connection. No one complained when the pizza was a little late, since Steve had to make the order and then wait for it to be cooked. By 7:00 folks were well fed and anticipating the piece de resistance, the dusk o. Would it be dark enough? It was very bright at 7:00. Lena wanted to run in daylight, so she could watch Nina while Sam ran in the encore. It took some time to wait but the runners were glad to see the tempeture go down a few degrees. Resting between runs was appreciated. Finally it was Time. Lena was back, but Sam was preoccupied. We walked to the start (50 meters) and counted down the seven o'clock hour, and GO! An hour later they all came back together. No penalties, and three people cleaned house. I am told that the woods were visible, but reading a map needed a flashlight. As time went by, the flashlights were needed more, and downloading and cleaning up needed headlights. Everyone was very pleased, and Lena cleaned up the results and made sure that Dave was informed and rout gadget was opened.

Thank you to everyone whoose name was listed, especially Sharon Siegler, for organizing dinner and keeping me honest.
Who wants more summer night o's? Tell the board if you like this stuff.
