It was my privilege to serve you and the broader orienteering community for so many years. Recognition is nice but of course it’s not why we do things. I was always perfectly content toiling away in relative obscurity. Any award I receive is shared with the countless other individuals who helped in my endeavors.
Good luck with your Fall O season. I am dealing with some health challenges which don’t allow me to get out in the woods much these days. I still orienteer in my dreams though.
