Warwick event - 6/26 sprints, picnic and meeting
-
Topic created by robw on Fri Jun 17, 2022 at 8:33 pmThe Warwick activities will be centered upon the pavillion behind the park office rather than the pavillions we normally use. The most convenient parking will be at the farthest lot from the entrence, past the park office building. There will be two sprint courses, similar to the earlier sprint series events. The only difference is that start times have been extended a half hour, to go from 10:00 am. to 11:30 am.The first club picnic since the beginning of the pandemic will be held afterwards around the pavillion. There will be a grill, with Steve Aronson cooking brats and hot dogs but because of the continuing Covid risks, you should bring your own utensils, food and beverages, although you are welcome to share salads and desserts. Everything will be outdoors, but please take the precautions that are necessary in these days of continuing Covid. The summer meeting, the first in-person meeting since January 2020, is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm.
