Planning, organizing, and running an event enables dozens and sometimes hundreds of people to enjoy a day of orienteering adventure! It can also feel like a big job. The links in this section contain lots of useful information based on the experience gained from running events over many years.

- Want to help at an event, but don’t know where to start?
- The easiest thing you can do, is walk up to the registration table and ask “how can I help?” – there will often be something easy to do right away – like helping hand out maps, or giving an existing volunteer a quick break.
- If you’re up for more time on the maps – just ask if you could help pick up some controls at the end – extra hands are always welcome!
