2021 hunting seasons

    We will need to chose our venues carefully next fall.  Sunday hunting seasons have been expanded to include  November 14, 21 & 28.  I suspect this will be a permanent change.

    Three Sunday hunting days was passed into law a couple of years ago, so I agree, this is likely to stay or expand.

    Nov 28th is firearms deer - second day of the season so you won't see me out in any meaningful sized woods that day, even in areas where hunting is 'not allowed'.

    Nov 14th is archery deer.  As an example, we used Gov Dick on this Sunday last year because hunting is prohibited there.

    Nov 21st is bear firearms, so likely won't impact some of our more urban parks.
