Solutions for the yes-or-no-O can be found here, along with a map:

Contratulations to Janet Tryon, who won the course with a perfect 13/13 correct (!) leading the the best time after penalties.  Glen Tryson finished second with 12/13 correct.

Thank you to everybody who came out today and tried the course.

I really enjoyed the YesOrNo challenge and took my time to be sure I checked everything out.

One thing that helped was visualizing the feature from the map before seeing where the flag was. 1:2500 was absolutely necessary! Thanks, Sam.

This was fun. I was taking a stroll, so my raw time was not important, and I got a 10/13, so there was a penalty,.
Is there any chance of listing all of our y/n scores, in a ?/13 format?

The top scores by number correct on the Yes-or-No-O were:

    Janet Tryson:  13/13
    Glen Tryson:  12/13
    Rob Wilkison:  10/13
    Bob Fink:  10/13
    Steven Aronson:  10/13

For complete results by control, check out the splits page:

The controls were numbered 71 to 83.
The seven controls shown in the splits were the "Yes" answers.  If a person correctly punched the control they have a split and if not there is a a "-----"
If people punched a "no" answer the control shows up as an extra at the end of their list of splits.

The most common "no" controls that were punched were #7 (a lot of people told me they punched this and then turned the corner and saw the correct cliff and knew they were wrong) and #12 (this one really depended on reading the clue - a bit of a trick).  #1 was not too far behind.

The most common "yes" control that was not punched was #3 (the partially buried boulder mapped as a dot knoll).

I will give an honorary fourth place to Chris Hand.  He sent in his strategy before the event:  Go directly from start to finish, thereby answering "no" for all controls.  He would get 52:30 of penalties for the seven wrong answers.  I don't know if he could make it from start to finish in just 7 second though to beat Kathy Moss' time of 52:37.
