Thank you to everybody who came out today!

As best I can tell, with the help of a strong turnout of beginner groups we broke our all-time attendance record for a Gov. Dick event, surpassing even the number of people who came to park for Mid-Atlantics.

Big thank you to the event director, Ava Suhocki.  Event directing is a much bigger job in the COVID era.  In addition to all of the usual day of the event stuff Ava took care of Event Register downloads, e-punch assignment, and computer setup.  Her hard work helped the day of the event run smoothly even with the big turnout.  Also thank-yous to Paige, Patty, and Grace who all arrived early to help set for the event.

Mark and Mary Frank were also here bright and early bringing supplies, bagging maps, and teaching beginnger classes to a total of around 60 people during the day.

And a big thank-you to the control pickup crew.  These people are the ones that didn't avoid the rain, but instead stayed late to help us get all packed up before dark:  Sharon Siegler and Steven Aronson (who are also drying out the kit right now!), Grace, Paige, and Ava Suhocki, Petr Hartman, and Lena Kushleyeva (who also helped with setup on Saturday).

And thank you to Fred Kruesi for map printing - way back in January, before the event was postponed.
