For those who like numbers, the spreadsheet below summarizes what all the competitors did at each control.

I had to guess a little bit on the "visit but did not punch" numbers, since some people have not uploaded or drawn a route on route-gadget yet 

The controls that caused the most trouble were 17 and 11, both of which were boulders but involved a distracter control on a rock mapped as stony ground or not at all.  As expected, the controls where the answer was none of the above also were tough.  Even 26, where there was only one distracter flag placed on a boulder on the wrong side of the trail/clearing, was only nailed by 2/3 of those who visited.

People ended up picking 6 of the 11 different trees in the field next to registration, though overall that control was done correctly by 77% of visitors, including Pat linked below:
