Thank you to all of the DVOA members who braved the rain and came out for the dual meet on Sunday.
It was a win for the ages for DVOA, a dominant shut out of HVO by a final score of 1627 to 0.
SVO scored 100 points on the day and runners unaffiliated with a club grabbed 390 points.
And a big thank you to Bob B. for designing the courses, and to the Franks with help with all sorts of volunteer positions all weekend long.

Reply by Guy-O on Mon Oct 28, 2019 at 9:08 pmAdmittedly, we (HVO) did not promote the event beyond a link from our online schedule to DVOA's online schedule.I'm not sure if our absence was mostly due to rain, distance (recent DVOA-hosted duals have been in NJ; at least twice at Rutgers), or lack of promotion. I suspect rain+distance was the killer. One point: In past duals only the placing of DVOA and HVO finishers counted in scoring -- otherwise, it would be a tri- or quad- competition. At the very least unaffiliated participants should not affect scoring. That said, of course, no matter what system was used, HVO would have scored a big, fat ZERO.

Reply by skolins on Tue Oct 29, 2019 at 8:11 amI was only going to count HVO and DVOA participants for the dual meet scoring, but once nobody from HVO showed up we needed somebody to compete against , even if it was just "none" :)Hopefully a better weather and distance and promotion combo can raise participation rates in the future.
