Topic created by bobburg on Sun Mar 24, 2019 at 10:15 pmThe weather was incredible (first official day of Spring that felt like Spring), everyone was in great spirits, and everyone seemed to enjoy their courses....from members to scouts to cadets. But what I especially enjoyed was how the entire staff took care of things proactively and looked after each other. Whenever I checked in with them after finishing some morning project and asked how the first shift staff was doing, i heard how someone had stepped in to relieve them so they could go run a course. Our core staff doubled as the day went on with everyone taking care of everyone else. So very very cool.Thank you's especially to my NJ partners, Pat and Bob Burton (a big applause please for them welcoming their 2nd grandchild into the world this past week), Robert Hesketh on tromb -- no, on the e-system which he always does with such aplomb and ease, and Bob Rycharski who showed up early, helped with set-up, and ran Start at beginning of day, doubling as instructor for those who welcomed (i.e. needed) it.Then the continual flow of additions to our staff -- Kathy and Dave Urban who showed up early and served in all sorts of ways till just shy of closing down the computer (thank you so much Kathy -- Robert seemed to love being able to run his course), Diane Reider who graciously drove from Reading and helped midday after running her course, Sam and Lena who filled in in all sorts of ways between and after running multiple courses in the meantime, to our magical mystery tour all-star pickup crew of Sam and Lena and Petr and Eric. I actually turned away other offers because those four were already out in the woods, collecting controls masterfully. What a great day at Rutgers!!
