    Celebrate one of the latest sunsets of the year at the McKaig Nature Center about a mile from the King of Prussia mall!

    The upper areas of McKaig stay fairly"white" even in the summer.

    The mapped area is just a little over 94 acres - just big enough for a summer "orange" course or two.

    Starts are from 6 PM to 8 PM.  Unless you're very, very fast I'd recommend starting before 7:30 PM.

    I could use some help with registration / epunch if anyone is available.

    The weather for Friday evening looks absolutely perfect.

    These are normal courses though a lot of open woods in a beautiful park.  Starts are 6:00 - 8:00 PM.  (Suggest starting before 7:30 PM).

    The two orange courses are very different - they are the same distance and climb but one has 16 controls and the other only 8.   There are very runable sections, some ruins to look at, lots of creek crossing opportunities, and a scramble up the side of "Monkey Rock" if you're game!

    I re-did the map since the night-O in December.  The contours are still USGS (10 feet) but the map is more accurate and ISOM-ish.  (ish).    There will be a porta-potty near the start/finish.

    Will the new "air" cards be available for rent?

    Kathy:  I don't know if the new "air" cards are in the blue kit that I am using  - I didn't see them in there.

    ============

    This event is "ON" and it is not a sprint - these are traditional courses in the woods.

    And the temperature is going to be around 70 degrees!   Hard to beat for this time of year.

    Only the red kit has the controls programmed to be in air mode and we only have the loan of the air cards for the summer for the sprint series.  After the last sprint on August 1, the controls will be programmed back to regular mode (less drain on the batteries) and I'll return the air cards to OUSA.

    That's good information.  So if someone were to show up with an air card, they would use it like a regular epunch unless they knew the controls were set up to accept air card mode?
