Erik has 3 courses designed to challenge the mountain bike novice to the mountain bike pro.  We’ll be starting from Kulptown Fire Company pavilion on Saturday 5/19/18.

12pm-3pm post race party.  Oakbrook Brewing Company will be providing craft beer to those over 21.  Pizza at 12:30, sodas & snacks

All courses are welcome to foot orienteers - but MUST email Erik Eddy before 9PM Friday to get a map and details: erikreddy@gmail.com (do not need to prepay).  We ask that you stay on trails to make the head-to-head with bikes more interesting +  nasty vegetation is not marked, though you are free to do as you like.

    Registration for Intro: 10am-12pm

    Half Gear Grinder – last registration @ 10:15 – starts begin @ 10:30 (3 hour limit)

    Full Gear Grinder – last registration @ 9:15 – starts begin @ 9:30 (4 hour limit)

    Courses close at 2pm

    Awards at 1:30pm

    We are ON.

I rode the Gear Grinder course last night and the trails were good.  The north side stays 'dry' and the south side was wet but the trails are holding their speed in most areas.  As far as the forecast - Birdsboro is right on the fringe of the system - we are suspecting the weather will get pushed a bit south.  Either way, be prepared for an adventure.

I'll push pre-registration to 8PM due to the uncertainty.

And, if you want to run a course, email me at erikreddy@gmail.com
