Do u have to have ralay teammates to enter this ? I'm going to be in the area on the 2nd (wilmington ish) and might want to saty the night and do the relay.

As far as I can remember, DVOA has put together most of its relay teams the day of the event with maybe a little planning done ahead of time. There are usually some pre-defined relays (families or other groups that want to run together) with the rest of us just splitting up into teams as we see who is there and who is interested in sticking around to run the relay after running a regular course.  Usually the relay composition has some handicapping (must have a young person or someone at least xx years or a female or some combination or something else completely random) with perhaps penalties added to times if you don't meet some critieria.  The course setter and event director have wide latitude in determining this but hopefully will post the rules soon.

And I should say, having an idea of who is interested in running the relay is great so, mark, if you're interested, I'm sure there'll be a team for you.

And if not clear, this is a regular event ( run any course) then option to run a bonus short relay course later.
