    Course Setter Notes

The Courses are a bit shorter than normal in consideration of the longish walk to start/finish area.  There has been logging along the Northern edge of the map, it doesn’t affect the courses or route choices, but will be visible from most courses.   There are some extra bike trails, most of them have been added by Erik Eddy, but don’t be surprised to find an unmarked one here and there.

There are two cable bridges to cross on the way to start and return to finish.  The first one  is a little bouncy.  If the creek is not roaring, it is walkable, bring a pair of water shoes if you aren’t comfortable crossing the cable bridge.

    Event Director Notes

Come out and run the courses Ed has set up in one of my favorite places.  We have a pavilion rented along the creek and under the trees at Rustic Park.  It’s a nice place to hang out and chat after you’ve run your course.

Earlier in the week the marker on the map at the website for the event was at Kulptown Fire Company, it has been moved to the correct location.  Please recheck the marker for the correct location.

Park in the gravel lot at the dead end of the road.  Please note that if you need to drive and park your vehicle close to the pavilion, there are signs that say no parking on the grass.  Don’t get us in trouble and park in the grass.

Control pick up is at 3pm….. if you can pick up, please check with me during the event to see if I need help.

Currently I don’t have the critical job of early epunch filled.  9:45-12pm

Quick note- the bike trails are marked indistixt (even though very distinct) as I didn't have time to line them up. The way Eds courses are they shouldn't be needed for done navigation, just reference when crossing.
